Rules that protect certificate value

Certification is meaningful only when scope, status, evidence and public claims stay aligned.

Applicants must provide accurate business, product, ingredient, supplier and process information.
Certification applies only to the approved organisation, products, sites, categories and dates shown on the certificate.
Food, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals are the active public certification scopes.

Prime may request additional documents, clarification, site review or corrective action before a certification decision.
Certification may be refused, limited, suspended, withdrawn or revoked where requirements are not met.
Certification decisions and status changes are recorded in the certificate lifecycle history.

Certified organisations must notify Prime of changes that may affect certified products, ingredients, suppliers, sites or claims.
Certificates must not be altered, extended beyond scope or used after expiry, suspension, withdrawal or revocation.
Public claims must match the active certificate record and certification mark rules.

Certificate references and logo use must stay inside the approved certificate scope and status.
